Cancellation and refund policies

Askmyfare has drafted a sound refund and cancellation policy. Our customers have the right to cancel their ticket, in case of any unforeseen incidents. Askmyfare will not charge any cancellation fee if the flight tickets are cancelled within 4 hours of booking. If the customer cancels the ticket after 4 hours of booking, Askmyfare will charge a nominal cancellation fee.

We will execute the cancellation or refund request only after we have received a confirmation from the respective customer. We will constantly update our customers on the status of their ticket refund or cancellation via email.

Cancellation rules for LCCs

Our cancellation and refund policy does not apply to Low Cost Carriers (LCCs). LCC tickets are non-refundable even when the customer cancels it within 4 hours of booking. This holds true for all the LCCs listed on our website, irrespective of the refund policy governed by the airline.

Best Price Guarantee

Askmyfare will pay the fare difference, between the flight tickets, to its customer if the customer has found a flight at a lower price for the same date and time of travel and for an identical itinerary.

When to claim a Refund?

If a customer has found a cheaper flight ticket online for the exact same itinerary on another flight booking website, within 3 hours of booking with www.askmyfare.com

A refund can be obtained by a customer, only once against the Best Price Guarantee Policy for an itinerary. Also, a customer cannot claim more than once for the same itinerary even if a cheaper rate is available on multiple sites at any point in time.

Claiming your Refunds

Customers can claim their respective refunds by contacting Askmyfare at booking@askmyfare.com However, the lower priced flight deal should be valid on the other website at the time you contact us for the claim against the Best Price Guarantee Policy. In case of successful refund requests, we will refund the amount of difference in price, at the earliest.

What do you need to claim a refund successfully?

Required documentation is required via mail to claim refund against low fare promise. The list of required documentation requires the following information:

  • Date and time of travel
  • Destination name
  • Name of the airline
  • Class of service
  • Fare and other details.
